Program RequirementsTo graduate from Bryant University with the distinction of completing the Honors Program, members must successfully complete a minimum of 24 credits (eight courses) of honors course work. Each member must also successfully complete the Senior Capstone Project course (HON490). This course counts as one of the eight honors-designated course requirements. The number of honors courses required are dependent on the member's degree designation as shown in the table below.
Maintaining MembershipIn order to remain as a member in the Honors Program, members must demonstrate reasonable progress for coursework completion and membership criteria. Members are strongly encouraged to register for honors courses in a sequence and quantity that will allow for the successful completion of the program. Responsible progress is considered to be an average of one course per semester. In addition, members must attain a minimum grade point average for both overall (3.40) and honors coursework (3.20). On a continuous basis, the progress of each member will be reviewed to determine that a sufficient level of completed coursework and GPA standards are being maintained. |
